Das Bild der Wirklichkeit, das unsere Gedanken formt, ist das Ergebnis eines Selektionsprozesses, den wir Wahrnehmung nennen. Die Welt des Bildes formt ein Intermedium und eine Assoziationskette in Gedanken und Realität. Roger Cremers macht bewussten Gebrauch vom Informationsgehalt des Bildes und der Differentialität dieser Information. Er benützt Bilder, die als Träger für ein Wissen, das Wahrheit reflektiert, dienen. Die Aufnahmefähigkeit des Bildes für ?Wahrheit" schwankt mit seiner Lesbarkeit. In diesem Kontext sind der Begriff des Wissensträgers und des Wissenslesers von großer Bedeutsamkeit. In Cremers' jüngster Arbeit sind es technische Bilder, deren Form in einer zentralen Beziehung zu ihrer pragmatischen Funktion steht. Manchmal buchstäblich, manchmal verändert; Reifenprofile, Satelliten, Motoren etc. stehen beisammen und/oder formen eine Symbiose mit biologischen Formen. Cremers vereinigt beide in einem Prozess von Konstruktion und Deduktion. Intuitive Auswahlkriterien beeinflussen die anfängliche Rationalität während des Werkprozesses, so dass dieser schließlich seinen eigenen Weg zur Realisierung findet. Die riesige Menge an Informationen führt zu Mannigfaltigkeit beim Material. Mit verschiedenen Medien werden neue Strukturen geformt. Die Entdeckung der Verbindungen ist die Realisierung unserer eigenen Grenzen. Inwieweit ist Realität ein Produkt kollektiver Regeln, die vor Humanität glänzen? Führt Intuition zur Realitätserfassung oder zur Verstärkung der inneren Überzeugung?

The image of reality that forms our thoughts is the result of the process of a selection we call observation.The world of this image forms an intermedium and chain in thought and in actuality. Roger Cremers makes conscious use of the information of the image and the differentiality of this information. He uses images that function as carriers of knowledge that reflect a truth.The acceptance of the image for 'truth' fluctuates by legibility. In this context the notion of the carrier of knowledge and the reader of knowledge are of great significance. In Cremers' most recent work, technical images whose forms are purely related to their pragmatic function are central. Sometimes literal, sometimes reformed; tires treads, satellites, engines etc. stand together and/or form a symbiosis with biological forms. In a process of construction and deduction Cremers unites both. Intuitive choices influence the initial rationality of the work's process and conclusively follow its own path to realization. The multitude of information forms the diversity in materials. With diverse media new structures are formed. The discovery of connections is the realization of our own limits. To what extent is reality a product of collected rules that shine in their humanity? Does intuition reach towards reality or to a more confident inner life?
